JXD S5800 3G Game Phone launched

Chinese tablet maker JXD combines a tablet, handheld games console and Android smartphone in to one with the JXD S5800.

JXD have been making Android based handheld gaming devices for years with limited success. Most of their most recent versions have been larger gaming tablets, but for their latest model they have toned things down a little and add some additional features.

Gizchina News of the week

Like the models before it the JXD S5800 looks a lot like a Sony PSP however specifications are little different and included a 5-inch 960 x 540 touch screen, 1GB RAM, 8 GB memory, SD card reader, 5 mega-pixel camera, 3000mAh battery and quad-core MTK6589 processor. The choice of processor is quite interesting as it not only offers good performance but also bring WIFI, 3G and call features to the S5800 making it a fully fledged smartphone.

Pricing is not confirmed but the device is will likely go on international sale through resellers in time for Christmas.

Seems like JXD will never launch a 5-incher with rk3188 right?
