OnePlus N6 Lite Is Coming Next Week With a Huge 7,000mAh Battery

OnePlus has confirmed the launch date for its next budget phone in India. The OnePlus N6 Lite will arrive on September 22, and its biggest feature is already clear: a huge 7,000mAh battery.

The company is also promising a large 120Hz display, tough build, and several AI tools. The price and some key hardware details will remain a surprise until launch day.

The OnePlus N6 Lite is built around its battery. OnePlus says the 7,000mAh cell can provide up to three days of use on a single charge.

The company also claims up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps use, and almost 50 hours of calls. The phone supports wired reverse charging as well, so you can use it to power other devices.

That is a lot of battery for a budget phone. OnePlus has also tested the battery for more than 1,600 charge cycles, with over 80% of its original capacity still expected after that period.

The N6 Lite will feature a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has not yet confirmed the panel resolution, but the higher refresh rate should make scrolling and basic phone use feel smoother.

The screen also supports Aqua Touch. This allows the display to keep working when there is water, moisture, or oil on the surface.

The phone weighs around 215g and measures 8.95mm thick. That is not exactly slim, but the size is understandable when you consider the large battery inside.

OnePlus is also giving the N6 Lite MIL-STD-810H durability testing. The phone comes with rounded edges and a flat design, with Midnight Hype and Neo Green as the two announced colours.

The company is positioning the phone as an everyday device rather than a cheap phone with basic hardware. It also includes 36-Month Fluency Protection, which is designed to keep the software feeling smooth over time.

AI features will include AI Clear Face and AI Eraser. Google Gemini support is also included for everyday tasks and searches.

OnePlus has confirmed plenty about the N6 Lite, but several important details are still unknown. The company has not revealed the chipset, camera setup, charging speed, RAM, storage or exact display resolution.

The price is also being kept secret. That could be the most important detail of all, especially since the N6 Lite is expected to sit below the OnePlus N6 and N6x.
