Following on from their self-proclaimed “Quad-core Killer” UMi have sent out details for their upcoming phone, the very attractive UMi Zero.
UMi are hoping that they can break some records this year with a new slim body smartphone named the UMi Zero. The Zero is aimed at fans of fashionable smartphones and features a Gorilla Glass layer front and rear to give a tough, glossy finish.

UMi are stating that the phone will have something that they are calling a ‘Superbody’ we are not sure what they mean by this, but we have been assured it will measure in at less than 6mm, but to break any records it is going to have to measure closer to 5.5mm.
Specifications haven’t been announced but pricing is said to be competitive. The above image is the first official look at the UMi Zero, let us know what you make of it in the comments section below.

I’ve always liked Umi as a company, but they haven’t yet made a flagship with specs that are competitive with the big boys. Their fallback position always seems to be price, and that’s not enough when you don’t have LTE or other key features.
UMi is back in business.
UMI Zero looks like Doogee DG900 wannabe. Most likely it’s same design department at same OEM factory. I think VOTO will next smartphone in same design line-up. All we needs it’s specs.

We as official partner of UMi have the prototyp of the UMI Zero and it is indeed really awesome. It looks amazing. But the processor will only be a MTK6592T octa core processor with 2GHz. The display will be 5 inch and the resolution 1920x1080p. It will come with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM. The camera will be 13MP and 8MP with F1,8 . One more thing it will have is Gorilla Glas 3 and it support OTA und OTG. The battery is 2500mAH. I think for normal usage it is a great smartphone with a goos shape.
