Google's
Pixel 11 phones have only been around for a short time, but the first Pixel 12 leak is already here.
The leak points to four phones in the 2027 lineup, with another foldable model. The information comes from the GSMA IMEI database. OVR Plus found four entries that appear to belong to the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL and Pixel 12 Pro Fold. Tho Google has not confirmed any of them yet.
Four Pixel 12 models are listed
The database entries use four different model numbers:
- Pixel 12: GC0QU
- Pixel 12 Pro: GWU59
- Pixel 12 Pro XL: G7U1Y
- Pixel 12 Pro Fold: G4D5D
This would give
Google the same four-model lineup as the current Pixel 11 series. The leak also includes display resolutions for all four phones, but the Fold's figure only covers its inner screen.
The Fold could get the biggest upgrade
The Pixel 12 Pro Fold is the most interesting phone in the leak in my opinion. Its inner screen is reportedly listed at 2296 x 2404 pixels.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold uses a 2076 x 2152 inner display. That means the new panel would have about 24% more pixels in total. It would also be slightly wider, but the screen would still have a shape close to a square.
The other three phones show a different change. Their leaked resolutions are slightly lower than those of the Pixel 11 models.
The Pixel 12 is listed at 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Pixel 12 Pro could use 1280 x 2824, while the Pro XL may have 1344 x 2952 pixels. These are only small changes, with the horizontal pixel count staying the same.
That does not mean the screens will look worse tho, since screen size and shape determine how much pixels are needed. We do not know the final display sizes yet, so i wont call it a downgrade yet.
The launch is still far away
The Pixel 12 series will launch somewhere around August 2027. That is still time for changes, sothis might not be final.
For now, the foldable looks like the most interesting part of this early leak. The other three phones appear to be keeping a similar display setup, at least based on the information available today.
