Ulefone Paris gets 6th update, Android 6.0 on the way

ulefone paris

Ulefone Paris users are going to be feeling pretty happy today as they can expect another update (the 6th so far) soon plus Android 6.0 development is in progress.

Update version 20160107 brings fixes to unread emails, brings the option to use different ring tones for SIM 1 and SIM 2, increases the sensitivity of the proximity sensor and allows you to use the phones flashlight feature even if you have less than 15% of power left.

Gizchina News of the week

This is the 6th update for the 5.5-inch Ulefone Paris (Ulefone Paris review here) since it launched last year, but the real question is when can users expect Android 6.0 on their 8-core, 2GB RAM phone? Well Ulefone are working on the update which they hope to have released by March, but a Beta version might be released for testing before then.

Full details of the Ulefone Paris are available on the Ulefone website and the Paris can be bought online through Gearbest right now.

I am still waiting for the promised 5.1 update for Be Touch 2. Actually it should have shipped with it.

Most shitty phone with most shitty rom I have owned. I use the latest Crystalrom by the way.

      I’ll never buy Ulefone again.

Ulefone Paris is 5.0 inches. Great phone. Bought one for my wife and so far everything works fantastic. Only downside so far is that there is no Silicone case for it.

Great to see such frequent updates from Ulefone! Seriously considering an Ulefone phone for myself in the future,

Camera – very decent. No problems.
Battery – although it would be great if it would be 4k mAh or even 3k but for real life usability – after all day work with medium use of the phone (FB, music, Telegram a LOT, email, surfing), around 17:30 when my wife comes home it is still 30% left on the battery. Since it is not AMOLED the screen uses a lot of energy. Also quickcharge would be great to have but anyway – we (she) are happy so far. Love the ability to remove battery and looking forward to Android 6.0 upgrade soon which should make battery experience even better.

But if battery and camera interests you a lot and you are buying phone for yourself – look at the Power (Ulefone). Has better camera sensor and waaay better battery. It is bigger and heavier but I thin it is worth the extra price (based on reviews so far).

You’d better buy Ulefone Power. The 6050mAh battery is out of question (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTmbcoQYH54). And the sample photos offered by Ulefone are also good.http://blog.ulefone.com/ulefone-power-sample-photos-best-camera-for-best-phone/

Yes! Very interesting phone… If I would be buying a phone today, this one would definitely be on the top of my list.

My wife is using Ulefone Paris and happy with it, too. And i saw many people get Paris for their wives. Haha, it’s slim and very good for single hand.

Yes… I looked through dozens of phones for her Christmas present and I picked Paris and bought/ordered it on beginning of November. It arrived on New Years eve. 😀

She is very happy with the phone. The only regret is that we cannot find silicone cover for it. We received 2 flip covers but although they are very nice and stylish they are not very practical. And then I ordered non flip plastic back cover and that is ok but it is too slippery…

Ulefone is setting a positive example about how to support users for brands like them.

maybe only 1-2 comments are from real users here, all the rest is pathetic ule-guys praising their own shit.

I don’t know if you placed me in any of those 2 categories of users but let me assure you I’m not employed by Ulefone or in any way compensated.

When I was looking for a phone for my wife I followed several domestic (Croatia) and global smartphone portals/tech sites. And studied the market for a good middlepriced/cheaper device, hopefully not bigger than 5 inch. Brand names are very expensive for what they offer and they are known for not updating their phones if the models are not top tier.

Some Chinese more popular brands are ok but also a bit expensive and come with strange “skins”/UI upgrades that my wife nor I are accustomed to.

I was considering Cubot, even talked to them but they said no devices already shipped will receive Marshmallow upgrade.

LetTV was a great looking phone then too but again a little over the budget. I wanted to buy a phone which if it didn’t work, I wouldn’t loose sleep over price paid.

Then I stumbled on Ulefone. Although I didn’t like the name of the company I was intrigued. Even more with design of Paris and their support. Although it is not perfect (screen also has a minor assembly glitch) it looks, feels, acts great! Yes, almost forgot – it also SOUNDS fantastic. It really has great audio. And now we look forward to MM coming in March. Every help in battery life will be greatly accepted 🙂

I almost went for Umi Rome but I’m so glad I didn’t.

ZUK 1 was great choice but a little out of budget.

Now, new phones from Ulefone got my attention even more. Power seems a great workhorse phone. And Ulefone Future really got my attention. I like the direction the company is heading.
I’m very serious about earlier retirement of my Samsung A3. If I was buying today I would probably go for Power. But I’ll wait to see what next will happen on the market.

What better bang for buck 5 inch phone with almost pure android and with good build quality and support would you suggest I should’ve bought in November 2015?

What sub $200 phone with good battery, fingerprint scanner, support and overall good phone would you suggest today if not Power?
