With over 250K registrations in one day, the Mi Mix 2 is ready for launch!

Xiaomi fans, I know you’re gonna love this. Just 24 hours after its official unveiling the Mi Mix 2 is one of the hottest smartphones in the world, and this can be confirmed by the huge number of registrations it has so far: 250.000 and rising in under 24 hours.

Gizchina News of the week

Yes, we all know that registrations don’t necessarily mean that someone is going to REALLY buy it, but still it shows the level of interest one has for the device. The Mi Mix 2 is expected to go on sale on September 15, and as is usually the case it’d be a flash sale. The 8GB RAM variant will not be part of the first sale, but I guess the 6GB RAM variant is quite a powerful device anyway.

Not a major move on from the original Mi Mix, the poor cameras offered are disappointing.. why no dual camera on the back, or could have put a secondary rear display (like the Miezu Pro 7) and alleviated the need for a front camera completely. And yet again totally useless for UK use with no 4G 800 band. Don’t Xiaomi want to make even more money?

I don’t see why you’re dissapointed, firstly there IS 4g 800 brand . Secondly dual cam are nothing but a trend now! The best camera phones use 1.
Please tell me why are you bringing scondary screen here?? Nobody want a mix for a secondary screen.
And lastly the mix 2 is CHEAPER than the original….. So yes xiaomi want more money by bringing a better phone and making it cheaper.
When I see this kind of reaction it make me wish xiaomi limits their products to the local market only so you the “never happy” guys can only look at the quality devices they create without any possibilty to touch it.
