Intel To Port Honeycomb


Intel are on a mission, a mission to get as much of the tablet pie as they possibly can, and who can blame them!?

The CPU giant are late entering the tablet race and have lost heaps of ground and mounds of customers due to the late start. Nvidia, Samsung, Qualcomm and others have happy munching away on their Andorid slices, but will Intel manage to grab the last slice of Honeycomb?

Paul Otellini, president and chief executive of Intel has gone on the record to say that his company have received the Honeycomb code and are busy porting it to run on X86 platforms.

Although no real release date was given it is hinted that we will see Intel Honeycomb tablets by the end of the year.
