- First download the latest version of Absinthe for Windows here.
- Launch the downloaded Absinth program on your PC. A window will appeat prompting you to connect your iPad 2 to your PC. Before this however, make sure you clear any VPN details and passwords you may have saved.
- Click on the ‘Jailbreak’ button
- Absinthe will now begin to Jailbreak your device and will cycle through various steps. Just hold tight and enjoy the ride.
- Once the Jailbreak is almost done, you will be prompted to go to the ‘Absinthe’ jailbreak icon on your iPad 2 and press it.
- If the server is not running you will get an error. If this happens head in to settings and switch on your VPN. You will get another error and your iPad 2 will reboot.
