Does all the zopos boot up like this one? With full google play store and free of chinese software and messages?

How about rooting? Does it come rooted?

Ordered minę from antelife. Its taking so long…

  6. September 9, 2012

    antelife is usually pretty quick…

you can order your phone pre-rooted, but Zopo also has the drivers and instructions on their site. just use SnapPea to load .apks if you are lazy…

as far as I know, Google Play is preinstalled and the only Chinese app was a fancy keyboard.

@farookb4u yeah I’m sorry but if I had done everything it would have taken much longer for the review to end and the comp to begin. Sorry again for the long wait guys.

@Ozp : Zopomobileshop has a US$9 option of getting the phone rooted (and removing any Chinese apps). The website also provides instructions and downloads should you want to root the phone yourself.

@farookb4u : zopomobileshop had made a video on Skype video call for ZP300 couple of months back. So ZP900 should perform equally well (or even better). The video is also there on youtube (for zp300)

    Thx Andi. Good show!
I must say. I was a bit sceptic about the size, but I must say it looks amazing. It’s a big phone, but still very comfortable.

BTW Andi, because of your site I got even more fascinated by China. Wanna visit it someday, but how hard is it to learn the language? I heared it takes over 7 years to speak and understand it?

    Hey Andi,

Did you happen to connect the phone to your laptop ? I was reading on Zopomobileshop that some of the users were facing issues with their MicroSD cards not being recognised. Can you please test this too and let us know?

    Thanks,
    Amby

      @Amby yep a few times. Didn’t have a problem.

How relieable is the 3g service on the ZP900? Have not found anyone showing how good reception is data or phone wise. I just bought the mtk6577 galaxy s3 and reception for data and phone is horrible. I really like the ZP900 just really hate to blow another 300.00 dollars. By the way I’m on ATT’s network so Iknow it will work just unsure how well. If you or anyone else could help or post their findings would help.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the great effort, I have a couple of questions, does it have a spelling dictionary, and how is the GPS and battery life while using both sim cards.

    Regards.

    Hi Andi.

Zopo have dropped the cost of this phone to $240. Is this to clear stock before the quad core comes out, as reported, at the end of the month?

    • November 19, 2012

I believe it is yes 🙂
