Newman NX $100 dual-core phone specifications

After the success of their Newman N1 Android phone, Chinese brand Newman are now looking to take on the low-cost Android phone market with their Newman NX which will go on sale for just $100!

The Newman NX will go in direct competition with the JiaYu G2, Mogu M2 and the Zopo ZP500+ Libero, all of which are low-cost phones with dual-core MT6577 CPU’s.

Gizchina News of the week

Unike the JiaYu G2 and Mogu M2 which boast a full 1GB RAM, the dual-core Newman NX will only come with 512Mb RAM meaning it might not be the best phone for gaming in the world but might promote longer battery life thanks to it’s slightly lower specifications. There are rumour suggesting a 1GB version will be available once the Newman N2 quad-core phone arrives.

The rest of the spec reads like other $100 dual-core phones which are currently available with a front 0.3 mega-pixel camera, rear 5 mega-pixel camera, and 4 inch WVGA screen with a resolution of 800 x 480.

The Jiayu G3 is obviously the phone to get. I will keep on waiting for this Jiayu phone since no other phone can match shoulders with it.

Probably the second batch should be ok and all problems fixed with enough for us international buyers.
