JiaYu G4 Official Specifications Announced!

JiaYu have unveiled an official specification sheet for the new quad-core MT6589 JiaYu G4 Android phone, let’s just hope the announcement isn’t a repeat if the JiaYu G3 debacle.

We’ve already seen leaked photos of the new JiaYu G4, and now we have an official (partial) specification direct from the company.

According to the banner plastered across the top of the JiaYu G4 forum, we can officially expect to see the G4 rocking a quad-core, 1.2Ghz MT6589 CPU, a 4.7-inch OGS IPS display with 720 HD support, and there will be two versions available with either a 3000mAh or 1800mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

Further details found elsewhere on JiaYu’s forum claim the G4 will pet a 12 mega-pixel rear camera, 2GB RAM and Android 4.1 out of the box.

Like the JiaYu G3, pricing for the G4 is impressively low with the unofficial word being the new flagship phone will go on sale for 999 Yuan ($160)!

I hope the increase in screen size for the G4 should be concentrated on the width of the screen and not the length. The G3 was quite too ‘tall’ for comfort!

    Hello,

I bought a Jiayu G3 from ebay. Now looking to buy a case and protector. Has seen http://www.antelife.com/original-accessories-promotion-package-for-jiayu-g3.html for $22. Is this site any good? If I choose Singapore Post will I get the item or will be lost?

Or is there any trust website I can get this package?

    Thanks.

Well, it’s useless if majority of the people can’t buy it because of their “China-only” sales.. Or whatever preorders, limited stocks, lottery stuffs..
