I was getting really excited about this phone until I read the battery capacity πŸ™ Why is it that many of these ‘flagship’ phones come with such small batteries? With a screen like this one and a quadcore processor, you would never last a full day on a charge I’m afraid.

Even I was excited until there! πŸ™
I think they had to do so, so as to maintain a slim profile maybe?

Many smartphones producers are thinking the buyers want thin phones. Some companyes are fighting from the slimmest smartphone.
But they never asked the buyer: what you want, a slim phone or a good battery?
I don’t care about more 2mm if the battery have 1000mAh more.
For me is no difference between a 8mm smartphone and a 10mm smarphone, but the difference between 2000mAh and 3000mAh battery is huge.

I fully agree. I am still considering buying this phone however as the battery is removable – an extra battery and external/desk charger is c.$30-40 USD; I can see myself having 2-3-4 of these, useful for long trips etc.

Even so, I would prefer min 2500mah+ in each battery. The Zopo has a high PPI (440?), full HD, and that demands a sensible sized battery.
