Next Oppo Find to get Snapdragon 800, could launch September

Sources close to Oppo are reporting that the next Oppo Find model could launch as early as September and will get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

The Find 5 has been doing extremely well in China and across the globe, and as we expected, work on the next generation phone has already began. According to sources close to Oppo, the new Find model (possibly the Find 6) will feature a Snapdragon 800 CPU and 8 mega-pixel front camera.

The rest of the hardware will remain the same as the current Find 5, so 1080 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, NFC and 13 mega-pixel Sony Exymor sensor. The real question here though is this an all new Oppo Find 6 or an updated version of the current Find 5?

Bearing in mind how chinese phone makers work, “as early as september” will mean “early next year”. Always same story, a lot of hype and a long time to wait for them.

Two things. 1) This is just a rumour, nothing official. 2) Oppo are in a different league compared to the smaller Chinese makers.

Hope so, as I’d like to acquire this one right after the summer break. However, you must understand how customers feel about rumours, leaks……… followed by the long and “no-news” wait and shortage of units that sell out within seconds.
Wish this OPPO thing were a different thing. THX.

Oppo is a class act, that can definitely rival the big brands 🙂

Rephrase that, not only rival but be superior to the big brands. Apparently the firmware has OTA updates twice a month, and the level of support on its official forum is second to none.
