Xiaomi Mi3 shows up on Antutu with 2.1Ghz CPU, plus leaked packaging

Yesterday we had spy photos and specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi3 now we have details from Antutu and purported packaging from the new phone.

August 16th is the rumoured launch date of the Xiaomi Mi3 and leaked details, photos and now packing of the next super phone from the Beijing manufacturer.

Gizchina News of the week

Todays leaks confirms some of the details we posted yesterday and also gives us a few more details. Starting with the Antutu screenshot, we can see the that Mi3 is listed as a 1920 x 1080 phone, but more interestingly is the 2.1Ghz CPU and Android 4.2.1! A Snapdragon 800 running at that speed will be amazingly powerful, and Android 4.2.1 could suggest a new version of MIUI is on the way! Perhaps MIUI V5.5?

Another source has managed to get hold of what they are claiming to be mock ups for the Xiaomi Mi3’s packaging. The details on the box list a 3000mAh battery and headphones, something which previous Xiaomi phones didn’t ship with!

Like all flagship Xiaomi phones the Mi3 is expected to hit the market at 1999 Yuan ($320) when it goes on sale later this year!

Its obvious that this is a FAKE. Previous leaks of Snapdragon 800 suggests Antutu scores around 32000.

For comparison, what would be the Antutu score of a workstation class notebook, with, say with an Intel i7-3920XM and NVIDIA Quadro k 4000?

    It’s obviusly manipulated… 2 mins and a paint and the Mi3 make 840k antutu score. http://oi40.tinypic.com/vfcr9u.jpg
