iOcean have been running a number of updates on their iOcean X7 phone, but non as large as this on the iOcean X7 Plus 16GB.

Gizchina News of the week

In essence the iOcean X7 Plus 16GB is a highly updated version of the Youth model, but it appears this version of the phone will be sold as a separate model all together! Priced at 1299 Yuan ($211 Chinese mainland price), the X7 Plus features an upgraded 1.5Ghz MT6589T processor, a storage bump to 16GB, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera (rather than the 8MP previously) and new optics to improve the quality of photos.

The rest of the hardware remains the same meaning 1GB RAM, a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2000mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

What an amazing phone with its very own built-in flux capacitor, providing 1300 Watts of total power output (for your convenience scalable in combinations of 200W, 300W and 800W).
This should cover most of your power needs, be it jump starting your car with its powerful 1.3kW energy source, arc welding or illuminating your next garden party or wedding.
    Be the source with you.

Maybe it is powered by a portable nuclear reactor…

A ‘Mr Fusion’ actually, you just dump your left over food in it and it runs.

Look like it’s the camera resolution. “W” presumably stands for “wan” (万) which is the number 10,000.

Nice phone nice spec, battery life in minutes rather than hours perchance needs 3000 mAh?

    • July 10, 2013

I was chatting to someone a while back in Shenzhen who actually has a model with a 3000mAh battery. I don’t know if they plan to release it or not though.

Can the build quality also be brought up to premium spec?

I had one for a couple of days and the panel gaps were so bad I sold it. Also, the uneven lighting on the capacitive touch keys.
