Super slim 5.6mm Vivo X3 to launch on August 22nd

Vivo are keeping momentum going for the launch of the super slim 5.6mm (?) Vivo X3 announcing the launch to take place on August 22nd!

Vivo’s love for producing super slim Android phones started with the 6.5mm Vivo X1 (which spawned an updated Vivo X1s model earlier this year). Since then Huawei and Umeox have launched phones thinner than the X1, and now Vivo are preparing to take the ‘world’s thinnest title’ once again with the Vivo X3!

Reports claim the Vivo X3 will be available in either 5.6mm or 5.9mm thicknesses which is similar to the Umeox X5, however the Vivo phone will pack a 3.5mm headphone jack, larger 1080 FHD display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and high-definition stereo sound enhancement from Cirrus Logic.

A 1.5Ghz quad-core MT6589T will power the new anodised phone with pricing believed to be as low as 2699 Yuan ($441).

I always say FHD resolution on a mobile is a bad idea unless there are specific reasons to warrant it (>>5inch screen and/or powerful hardware). So in that it’s worse off than the other Super slim phones

When books were the primary access to information paper cuts were quite common now in the digital we will get phone cuts. Yipee so exited, for 450 odd USD I can get a device that will act as phone phone for 2hrs and knife for the rest of the day in effect not a good phone nor a great knife at 440$ 😀
