After news that the Xiaomi Mi3 would go on sale for 1999 Yuan for the 16GB and 2499 Yuan for the 64GB, Lei Jun came back to the previous flagship phone, the Snapdragon powered Mi2S. The Mi2s still has plenty have fans, especially being a 4.3-inch phone in a world of 5-inchers, and it is still one of the more powerful handsets on the market thanks to a quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU and 2GB RAM, so what is to happen to it now that the Mi3 launched? A price drop, and a mighty good one at that!

The Mi2s with 32GB memory, which also has the updated 13 mega-pixel rear camera, has now had its price slashed to only 1799 Yuan ($293). If anyone is looking for a powerful, small screen phone with plenty of accessories now is the time to buy!
When will the international resellers drop their prices ?
They probably wont as they have already bought theirs. Anyone selling Xiaomi phones internationally is not doing it as an official distributor, they are going to the store like everyone else, buying them and then selling them at a profit

Hi Andi, you may initiate your own mobile E-store for worldwide shipping. Even Xiaomi has a strategy to keep low profit, So Product cost will be lower than expected without compromising on quality and trust of buyers. We trust you more than others selling false products, false promises. (No offences on anyone. Tried one transaction and failed to get exact product(got a dummy one)) At least we can relay on the friends of us(Andi and all team). Give a shot Andy. No one knows what next to amazon.

YES, thats what ive been waiting for :D. i contacted spemall yesterday if they could reactivate the xiaomi discount codes, all they could give me was a 7 dollar coupon. and they said that i had to hurry up because they almost had no stock ^.^ (they prob wanted to sell it quick before the release of the m3 because they knew the price would drop haha) now lets hope resellers will drop the price too

isn’t there a way international buyers can pull it off….. get these devices cheaply as if we are in china. We need a forum to discuss this.

Now that the MI3 is out and the prices for the MI2s are getting cut i made my mind 😀 I loved the MI2 but i wanted the 13mp camera and i dont find that MI3 that mutch better, i find the hardware overkill and you wont be needing it for anything unless you want t play the heaviest games that are comming (Wich i wont)
So i hope the price of the MI2s also drops on ibuygou because since i was scammed while ordering the MI2s last time and they sent me MI2 instaid i really want a shop i can trust.
