Does this gold iPad mini 2 have a fingerprint scanner?

Gold is the new black! Apple have done it with their iPhone 5s, HTC are rumoured to be launching a gold One and now we have a gold iPad mini 2.

Apple are still expected to launch the iPad mini 2 and the iPad 5 before the year is out, we guess just in time for the Christmas rush. It is no secret what either the iPad mini 2 or iPad 5 look like thanks to all the leaks since Tim Cook took over as Apple CEO.

This latest leak shows a possible gold iPad mini 2 which would look great with a gold iPhone 5S for a bit of Starbucks bling. We also get a look at the base of the purported second generation iPad showing the speakers and lightning connector in familiar locations.

One detail which does stand out is the home button. Will the iPad mini 2 also get the same fingerprint security setup as the iPhone 5s?
