China Telecom version of the Xiaomi Hongmi gets spied with updated camera hardware

Customers on China Telecom (the smallest of the 3 Chinese phone networks) are about to get some Xiaomi Hongmi love, but with the added benefit of updated camera hardware!

Both China Mobile and China Unicom (TD-SCDMA and WCDAM) versions of the affordable Xiaomi Hongmi have been on sale for a few months now, however CDMA customers have had to wait a little longer for their taste of red rice.

Gizchina News of the week

The wait will be worth it though as the China Telecom model of the phone features an updated 8 mega-pixel front camera and 13 mega-pixel rear sensor. Other hardware details including the 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.5Ghz quad-core MT6589T, 1GB RAM and 2000mAh battery remain unchanged.

啊? Not sure which translation you used but the source article still mentions a 8MP back camera and 1.3MP front camera (“…provides 8 million primary camera + 1.3 million front-facing camera,…”).
