Huawei Honor 3X octacore available from 8th January

Huawei’s affordable, unlocked octacore Huawei Honor 3X will officially go on sale in China for just $280 on 8th January.

The Huawei 3X is the larger, more powerful big brother of the 3C which has been selling like hot-cakes since it launched some weeks ago. What differentiates the 3X from the entry-level 3C are the larger 5.5-inch 720p display, and 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore processor.

The Huawei Honor 3X also boasts 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory, 13 mega-pixel main camera with anti-fingerprint coating on the lens, 5 mega-pixel front with F2.2 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens, 3000mAh battery, DTS and Huawei’s own Emotion UI2.0.

Huawei have adopted a Xiaomi style of marketing and selling both the new Honor phones with the 3X only being available at 10am on the 8th January and in limited numbers.

If you are in HK, Shenzhen is not that far away 🙂 Why don’t you order directly from Huawei on Vmall? That seems to be the best option for you.

The only point against this phone being its Back Camera aperture size. F2.2, instead of 2.0 or 1.8 !
Otherwise it is a perfect phone for me…

There are many sellers already on Aliexpress, just a few of them has stock (according to their answers). If I receive my 3X I will tell you who is a recommended seller. Price is $340-$355 currently with free shipping.
3X supports WCDMA in both SIM card slot.

On Aliexpress, from some seemingly trusty seller. I only can recommend
after I will receive my 3X, because he sent it 2 days later, than promised,
and I just realized now that he wrote a fake tracking code and later
corrected it. (3 days delay and a few lies)
Most of the sellers still don’t have stock. Official open sales starts on 23rd January.
        I also ordered to EU.

Do you have any news about the phone? Did you got it? If yes I might ask you for the sellers name and so

I am still waiting for it. Singapore Post was fast, but the post of my country is really slow.

Tommy, I received my phone a week ago, and now I can recommend the seller to you. But first the few drawbacks:

            – I had to pay customs tax (the package too much looked like a phone)

            – Seller ignored some of my small requests (however he was basically very helpful)

            – Seller forgot to include gift case (which was ugly, so I don’t mind this :D)

            – 3 days delay of shipping back in January (I suppose he just acquired the stock because it was limited that time :))

            Positive:

            – He tested the phone and installed Google Play Store

            – He wanted to install localized ROM (but I told him that I need the original version switched to English)

            – He agreed easily to do a tr1ck to av0id customs duty, and refunded the f@ke transaction within 2 hours when I told him, that my tr1ck failed

            – Helpful and communicative

            – Good prices (back then and currently also)

I would recommend this seller and chose again.

Search “huawei honor 3x” on AliExpress and chose “J&K Technology CO.,LTD”
