Canonical VP, Cristian Parrino visits Meizu

Meizu’s Linux plans are full steam ahead as VP of Canonical, Cristian Parrino visits the company to discus the future.

Meizu have really grabbed the year of the Horse with both hands and are not letting go! The company have kicked off the year with a new invigorated approach which has seen old team members rejoin, possible investments and a price cut for the flagship Meizu MX3!

Don’t think that price cut means Meizu are about to drop the MX3 though as VP of Canonical arrived at Meizu’s offices yesterday to work on plans for launching the octacore Exynos phone with the Linux based os.

Details of the meeting haven’t been released but it is widely believed that Cristian Parrino met with Huang Zhang at Meizu to speak about Canonical, the Meizu MX3 and MWC!
