Meizu drops the price of the octacore Meizu MX3 to just $330

Lots has changed at Meizu since the end of the Chinese New Year including the return of company exec Huang Zhang and another price cut for the flagship Meizu MX3.

This is the 2nd Meizu MX3 price reduction and the 2nd indication that Meizu are seriously pursing a more aggressive stance in the local price war against rivals Xiaomi, Gionee, and others.

The flagship Meizu MX3 which features a 5.1-inch FHD display, 2GB RAM and Samsung Exynos octacore processor. The base model with 16GB memory and no NFC now costs just 1999 Yuan here in China while the 32/64 and 128GB models are priced at 2199/2599 and 3399 Yuan.

Meizu are currently looking to attract investors to help boost their market presence and will officially enter European and U.S markets later this year. It has also been leaked that Meizu will launch a 4G version of their phone plus a new Mezzu MX4G device and Mini phone.

      Nowhere…

It will take some time (maybe months) until you’ll be able to buy it for around $400.

I don’t remember, maybe both. I am interested on HK, but 400usd is too much for 4.4.2 phone. 320 is reasonable.
