Breaking: JiaYu S2 ready for production

According to the latest reports from JiaYu’s factory, the flagship octacore JiaYu S2 is now ready to go in to production!

These photos show a final engineering sample of a white JiaYu S2. The device in the photos is the finalised version of the phone which according to design staff is now ready to go in to production, but that isn’t to say the factory will now starting manufacturing the next generation phone.

Although the phone itself is perfected and ready, JiaYu will now be taking its time to ensure that the supply chains for parts such as the 1080 display, octacore processor and other essentials is secure.

Also stainless steel body and chassis parts will need to be outsourced ahead of the first production run, so although it is ready don’t expect the JiaYu S2 to hit stores anytime soon.

The JiaYu S2 boasts a 139 x 67.5 x 6mm body, 5-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 display, 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore processor and 13 mega-pixel main camera.
