JiaYu G6 leaked hands on video

jiayu g6 hands on video

GizChina.it sources have been to the JiaYu factory this week and managed to get exclusive first hands on footage with the JiaYu G6 phablet.

The JiaYu G6 is an all alloy and glass 5.7-inch phablet device with octacore porcessor, up to 2GB RAM and 32GB memory and a 13 mega-pixel rear camera. Photos of the phone were published here, showing a design not unlike the Huawei Ascend P6 phones, but obviously much bigger.

This short hands on video gives us a good idea of the size of the phone, plus how it performs while navigating around various screen. It also looks like JiaYu are either trying out a new ROM or launhcer on this JiaYu G6.

I’m pretty sure that’s Next Launcher by the Go Launcher team, or TSF Shell. Also, not sure if anyone’s noticed but what is that small oblong shaped dot on the back?

Wrong. It’s NEXT Launcher 3D. Sucky Go Launcher & pathetic TSF will never hope to be that smooth even with a SnapDragon 805. They are badly optimized compared to N3D.

Next Launcher 3D was made by the Go Launcher team. And at the start of the video, the widget at the top (the blimp shaped one) clearly says “TSF”.

        Cool name btw. 🙂

I think it’s TSF Shell. It used to be pretty expensive on Play Store, but I heard they reduced the price.

It definitely still expensive, I checked.

              Check out:

Inspire Launcher, and read the corresponding article at Android Police. Its a new Launcher this month and is definitely going to get converts from Nova, Apex, Action etc
