Huawei are in the process of building a new online E-commerce portal where customers in the U.S can easily buy the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G LTE.
Everyone in the know realises that Chinese smartphone are the device to buy if you want the very best features at the very best prices, but availability and support outside of China is always a major concern.
We have already seen Oppo, Xiaomi and even JiaYu and Zopo venture outside of China, and now Huawei are planning to do something similar with the new Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G LTE. Obviously Huawei have been an international player for sometime, but this marks the first time the company will be handling retail and distribution of their own device direct to customers.
The new website, GetHuawei.com, is currently under construction but we can already see that the first device offered to U.S customers will be the 4G LTE equipped Ascend Mate 2. The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G LTE is a 6.1-inch phablet, with quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 13 mega-pixel rear camera. The phablet also supports various networks deepening on the version of the phone (Model MT2-L00: GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz); UMTS (B1/B2/B5/B8); TDD LTE (B41(2535~2575MHz));
Model MT2-L02: GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz); TD-SCDMA (B34/B39); TDD LTE (B38/B39/B40/B41(2575~2635Mhz));
Model MT2-L03: GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz); UMTS (B1/B2/B4/B5); LTE (B2/B4/B5/B17).
Huawei haven’t released pricing or a launch date yet, but those interested can head over to the new site and sign up to their mailing list.
