Another larger capacity phone to rival the Lenovo P780, the Eton Raytheon boasts a 5000mAh battery capacity which appears to be made up of dual batteries.
Chinese phone makers realised long ago that customers want phones with larger battery capacity, but only now are learning how to do it while maintaining current levels of performance and design.
We have seen plenty of large capacity phones which look great until you realise they lack in the processor, RAM or even design department, well the Eton Raytheon is going to try and fix all that!
Gizchina News of the week
A 5000mAh battery capacity is huge for a smartphone, there is probably enough juice on board for the phone to act like a powerbank!, but despite the capacity and what looks like a dual battery set up the body of the Eton is just 10mm thick! What’s more there is an octacore MT6592 chipset on board with Mali 450 GPU and 2GB RAM too!
Eton are claiming the Raytheon will have a standby time of 1100 hours, 55 hours of 2G and 21 hours of 3G! Perfect for anyone who likes to keep their trips to the mains socket to a minimum.
