Following on from the official release date of their new products this morning are leaks of the Meizu MX3S with octacore MT6595 running Antutu.

It has long been speculated that Meizu could be launching more than one phone at the “Think High” launch being held on 2nd September. According to sources we will see the all new MX4 alongside a budget conscious Meizu MX3S.

Gizchina News of the week

It is the purported Meizu MX3S which we see here running Antutu and getting a score of 35,731. The sore isn’t the highest we have seen, but once you hit over 30,000 points most phones are running so well it is hard to tell the difference.

What is exciting is that the phone appears to be running the all new octacore Mediatek MT6595 processor with big.LITTLE Architecture. The MT6595 can also support LTE to but from the images we cannot see if LTE is enabled on this phone.

Is there anything else of interest here? Well yes there is! We can see the phone is running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and judging by that white smart bar this is Flyme 4.0!

I’m considering buying it, or something of similar specs. Let’s wait and see what would September bring.

I think there is more versions of the chip, this is probably the slower version, or middle version. 6592 has 3 versions 1.4 1.7 2.0 Ghz this one has more, see here http://www.gizbeat.com/4344/mt6595-mtk6595-review-specifications-mhl-usb-3-0-emmc-5-0/

I think it does..All those antutu benchmarks over 40k are using the new Antutu 5.0 beta and this one uses the old..With the old, the opo manages 32-34k and with 5.0 beta it manages around 43k..

Damn, it is becoming really hard to make a choice with announcements everyday IoI. This phone with that CPU looks very promising! What will be its price? availability?

Phones List: Xiaomi MI4, Nubia Z7 Mini, Huawei Honor 6, Meizu MX3S and MX4……

Maybe I should go for a Redmi 1S now and wait the end of the year to buy a killer flagship.

Instead of the 1S get the phone you really want 😀

Apparently there will be 4 new Meizu to choose from. Usually Meizu are pretty good with releasing their products soon after launch and they have their own international online store.

Hi Andi, thank you for your message! I will follow Meizu’s products launch event and then decide which phone to buy. What would you suggest me in the list posted above? Thanks in advance!

If the Meizu MX3S is 5inch, I will wait for it!

Great the only problem MediaTek sucks due to the lack of openness that makes updating hard. Good luck getting future Android versions. That is why most mediatek phones are stuck on Jelly Bean.
