Start up brand Zeaplus launching MT6595 phone with Lollipop

zeaplus mt6595 phone

Chinese smartphone start up have just opened the doors to their newly launch website which details their first flagship, the MT6595 powered Zeaplus M6.

Zeaplus are an all new Android smartphone maker from China. The brand will focus on producing affordable phone for the entry-level and mid-range market and hope to keep costs down for international buyers with a warehouse based in Portugal.

The Zeaplus website launched today and is a little sparse as it stands with just a few details about the company and a new forum. We did however find a short description of their flagship phone.

Named the Zeaplus M6, the device looks similar to the iPhone 6 but will be powered by the same octacore MT6595 processor as the Meizu Mx4 and Zopo ZP999. The processor also bring LTE to the table.

Pricing isn’t announced but if they do launch the phone for a good price it could well be worth buying as it will feature a 4.7-inch 1080 display, 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 rear camera, fingerprint scanner in the home button and even Android 5.0 Lollipop!

We will be keeping a close eye on Zeaplus as the brand launches more new products.

The M4 with 5inch , quad A7, 1GB RAM, 8GB NAND , 13MP and 5Mp cam is not a bad deal at 99$ so hopefully the M6 is priced well too. Still , at 4.7 inch it has to be priced lower to sell and if it’s an iphone clone then it’s bulky.

Judging by the pics on their website the M4 looks more like a Mi4 clone also I am really suspicious of the cameras they are using. On one page of the website it says the M4 has 8mp rear and 2mp front on another page it says 13 rear and 5 front.

Yes that’s the standar interpolated values. I think 8 – 2 are the real Mp sensor resolution and 13 – 5 are the values using interpolation.

You must check every every every phone you buy for that marketing trick. Almost noone writes down the real Mp value.

Personally I don’t even look at MP’s when buying a phone. MP’s are only one small factor on whether it will take a good picture or not, aperture and sensor size matter even more which is why some of the best 8mp camera’s take better pictures than 16-20mp ones do.

This is interesting if the price is good. I hope it is not a really instant copy of the iPhone 6.

It depends on who really owns this Zeaplus brand. Is it a true startup or is it like One Plus One where it is really owned by one of the larger OEM’s (BBK in OPO’s case).

Unfortunately it is single SIM. They said so in their own forums. Too bad the M4 was promising and the M6 even more. Too bad they ruined it with single SIM.

It’s hard to me to undersand why those crazy people voted on Zeaplus forums for 6595 and not for 6752! God!

Sad that it has only a 4.7 inch screen, 5 inch would be perfect.
