Gizchina News of the week

The LeTV S1 will be the entry-level phone, but with a proven Mediatek MT6595 chipset (the same as the Meizu MX4) it is sure to be a powerful phone. Other details include a metal frame and plastic rear.

Next up is the larger 6.3-inch LeTV MX1 which will pack a Snapdragon 810 according to these details. Up front is a ultrapbixel sensor for selfies and around the rear a Sony 20.7 megapixel sensor. The whole body of the LeTV MX1 will be metal.

The LeTV X1 is flagship of the 3 with a 5.5-inch 2K display from sharp, ultrapixel front camera, 16 mega-pixel rear and a similar all metal construction to the MX1.

As for pricing the LeTV will be quite the bargain, and at 1000 Yuan (according to the above listing) will be the most affordable MT6595 phone on the market. The X1 will be the IUNI U3, OPO killer at 2000 Yuan while the large screen MX1 will be around 3000 Yuan!

Sounds too good to be true, but if they can beat OnePlus on specs and sell to other countries then LeTV could be the brand that others want. Sadly I think it’s mainland China only.

X1 will be the big seller! International sales that is, if its available. S1 should be a good seller in the domestic market.

I think I love the S1 more for now till Qualcomm fixes their Snapdragon 810 overheating and performance issues. I hope they will give the S1 3GB of RAM plus 32GB ROM and space for SD card too. Hopefully an IR blaster will surface too since these are media centric phones. Oh and 3000mAh battery minimum too.

Dude, 1000 yuan! What else do you want at that price? LOL
They sell Samsung S4 clones powered by MK6577 at that price. Don’t be greedy

All I have read about this LeTV sounds like a bullshit to me. MK6795 phone, no wait, too expensive now, we’ll wait until we can sell it for 1999 Yuan. Now they are selling a SD 810 phone for 2000 Yuan? Right, when is this going to happen? 2020?
Again, sounds like they opted for a very cheap advertising for whatever they are going to sell in the future. Pretty sad
