Meizu getting “Connected” with AKG, Opera and Pei Wo

Meizu sound like they are going to be connected to more than just your Haier washing machines as the company teases more ahead of this weeks launch.

The news that most of us are waiting for regarding Meizu this week is the launch of their much-anticipated 5-inch phone. A phone that rumours say will cost less but have better hardware than the Xiaomi Redmi 2.

If that wasn’t enough to look forward to though there are some more surprises that will be unveiled at the launch too.

Meizu today posted the following images on the Weibo account today suggesting cooperation with AKG Audio, Opera Browser and a Chinese app named Pei Wo.

With these three partners Meizu will be able to handle professional audio, sync browser data through Opera Browser and let you chat to complete strangers (that’s the purpose of Pei Wo).

How “Connected” these services and devices will be remains to be seen, as are any other secret services and partnerships Meizu might be keeping secret.
