After almost 12 months on sale, Oppo have just cut the price of their flagship Find 7. Could the Oppo Find 9 launch soon?
It was around this time last year when Oppo released the Oppo Find 7, which later became the base of the OnePlus One. The Find 7 is still a capable phone, but compared to newer models the price is high and specifications aren’t once what they were.
With a year in the market Oppo are probably very close to replacing the Find 7 with a new model, in fact we have already seen purported leaks of the Find 9 screen.
Another clue that the Oppo Find 9 is on the way is today’s Fine 7 price cut. Customers in China can now buy the Find 7 499 Yuan cheaper than the original retail price.
Gizchina News of the week
Both the Find 7 and Find 7a have been cut in price, similar price cuts might be seen in official Oppo resellers online also.
The Oppo Find 9 is rumoured to be a 5.5-inch phone with Snapdragon 810 processor, updated skyline notification and VOOC.

Skyline notification is Oppos unique notification light, instead of the conventional led that most use, they have a bar of light that pulsates beautifully (I’m surprised nobody copied this…)
VOOC is basically super fast charging…
I wouldn’t say it is unique to Oppo, Sony Experia U and SP models had it. 🙂
