3rd generation Xiaomi TV could launch on 24th March

Xiaomi sound like they are ready to release the 3rd generation of their Xiaomi TV in China on the 24th March.

Xiaomi are currently on their 2nd generation Android smart TV which features a 49-inch FK display, 15.5mm slim body, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and a quad-core 1.4Ghz processor.

The 3rd generation MiTV, or MiTV 3 will undoubtedly build on those specifications to offer more to customers wanting a feature packed Android smart TV at a good price, currently 3999 Yuan in China.

There is also the possibility that a 2nd MiTV 3 could be released at the same time. It seems likely that the 2nd set will come with a different size screen and slight different specifications to match its target price. It is unclear if this additional MiTV 3 will cost more or less than the current model, however there have been rumours of a 55-inch model.
