Zopo to release wearable next month?

On the 15th July Zopo will announce their new range of ‘Speed’ phones, but the launch could also be the date we see a wearable from the company too.

Zopo are expected to make a big push this year with the launch of the new Speed range of phones and a new wearable plus other devices toward the end of the year. While we already know the full details of the Zopo Speed phones, the watch does come as a bit of a surprise.

Gizchina News of the week

The image comes from Swiatandroid.pl who say the watch will be a round design but don’t mention other details. Looking at the image we are reminded of the ill-fated inWatch Pi. A terrible wearable we reviewed last year. It does seem highly likely that Zopo would simply rebrand the Pi as their own, but the sports tracker is by no means a smartwach.

We’ve reached out to our sources close to Zopo who say they have no knowledge of a wearable from the company. Let’s wait and see what happens.

that picture doesn’t make sense in the same way the banner from the dm360 doesn’t. the 2 lines in the upper left light spot should be the 12 o’clock mark. if you look at the bottom though you can see the wristband being exactly at the bottom, not slightly to the right. so 12 is not on top but slightly left. same thing with the dm360 ad! XD

Yes surely a DM360 rebrand, slope on bezel far too wide for the Pi.
