Landvo XM100, a good-looking $60 phone

Landvo may be down, but they’re surely not out. The new XM100 is testimony to that.

We heard a bit about this brand earlier this year, and even reviewed a handset. However, news from Landvo seemed to have died down since.

The new XM100 will try to change things a bit, and as far as I can tell, it’s already finding success at that. The Landvo XM100 is a super cheap phone ($60) with decent specifications and a rather nice design.

Gizchina News of the week

Here’s what the Landvo XM100 comes with:

  • 5-inch 960 x 540p display
  • MediaTek MT6580 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 5 mega-pixel rear camera
  • 2 mega-pixel front facing camera
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB on-board storage
  • 2000mAh battery

The device seems to be undergoing mass production as we speak… with deliveries set to commence in the second or third week of January 2016.

It’s been a while since we saw a really nice, cheap phone… could the Landvo XM100 be it? Let us know what you think.

It reminds me of good old renders of elephone p7000 we’ve seen for months 1 years ago… At least, in this one we can clearly see those giant black bezels right from the start… Landvo is being fair in this, I’ll give it this one… Those crappy specs though! With just a little more we can get really much more… This is just not worth it!
