Here’s a look at the upcoming OPPO F1 from every possible angle (plus launch date)

The OPPO F1 is a phone that OPPO teased a little while ago. It’s destined to launch on the 28th of January in India.

This is the same phone that OPPO talked about a few days back, i.e., one from the mid-range camera-centric phone series.

The very phone has leaked in a comprehensive hands-on video along with a lot of pictures. Let’s take a look.

OPPO F1: Specifications

OPPO’s affinity with the Snapdragon 615 continues as the F1 yet again features the octa-core chipset from Qualcomm. Along with that, there’s 3GB of RAM and most likely 16GB on-board storage. The screen is a 5-incher with a 1280 x 720p resolution, so the F1 is indeed going to be strictly mid-range.

That said, it is the camera features on the phone that OPPO is betting its money on. On paper, the cameras read as follows: 13 mega-pixel rear with PDAF and an 8 mega-pixel front.

Very clearly, the F1 looks already like a phone that’s tough to tell from other OPPO phones, particularly the R-series. It’ll be interesting to see how the on-paper specs convert into real life performance.

All these Oppo phones look very similar with no USP in my opinion. This is just going to be another overpriced Oppo handset.

I second that. Not only overpriced, but with a shitty processor, too. I cannot believe they went for Snap 615. Qualcomm must have reduced the price of this shit huuugely, so they decided to earn the money without considering the bad PR this model can create … Strange move.

Doesn’t matter how cheap they are getting it for, no one in their right mind will buy this pile of crap. Nearly every phone they have released over the last 6-8 months has had almost identical specs, just don’t understand where Oppo are coming from anymore, they’ve become even more clueless than Elephone!

I think Oppo bought a ton of 615s when they were launched, so now all they are releasing are phones with that SoC. 😀

what i dont understand is that oppo have their factories just like xiaomi therefore they can cut costs due to this reason and sell their phones at reduced price. It desnt matter if they put sd615 or less if its priced right people will but it. But no they go for greed rather than creating a brand
