OPPO f1 plusOPPO announced the R9 a few weeks back. The phone is now taking on the international markets starting with India in a new avatar — as the OPPO F1 Plus.

Gizchina News of the week

The ‘Selfie Expert’ OPPO F1 was announced back in January and enjoys unparalleled marketing footage. The F1 Plus is a more premium selfie phone that also happens to have a fingerprint scanner.

The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 processor. With that, the F1 Plus has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage.

The USP of the phone is naturally the front camera, which has a resolution of 16 mega-pixels, belittling the 13 mega-pixel main rear camera (PDAF-enabled).

Other specs of the F1 Plus include a 2850mAh battery (with VOOC fast charging support), dual SIM support, and an Android 5.1 Lollipop installation.

The F1 Plus will sell in Rose and Gold colours in India for an asking price of 26,990 INR ($407). The phone will be available both, offline and online.

India is an international market. And the LTE bands it features will work in numerous countries around the world.

They are competing with Vivo in pricing. Now Mi5 will make merry in the Indian market. SD820 @24k rupees is better than Vivo V3 Max and the Oppo f1 plus that floating around the same price IMO.
