TECNO is bringing the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition closer to its Italian roots. The company recently brought around 30 media representatives, creators, and business partners to Bologna, Italy, for an immersive look at the design ideas behind its collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini.
The event took place at Palazzo del Vignola, Tonino Lamborghini's historic headquarters. Rather than being just another phone launch, the visit was designed to show how Italian design and the lifestyle brand's identity influenced the
limited-edition POVA smartphone.
From Italian Design to a POVA Smartphone Here Comes The TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition
Tonino Lamborghini has built its identity around Italian craftsmanship, mechanical inspiration, and distinctive industrial design. Tonino Lamborghini founded the brand in 1981, and it has since expanded beyond its automotive roots into a broader lifestyle business.
That design philosophy fits reasonably well with the POVA series, which has traditionally focused on more expressive designs aimed at younger users. The
TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition brings some of those ideas to life through its black-and-red visual identity, mechanical-inspired details, and customized software.
The Pulse Line and Signature Shield are two of the main design elements inspired by Tonino Lamborghini. TECNO also uses a dual-layer rear panel with mirror elements inside, creating different reflections as you move the phone.
The Italian influence also appears in the software. The phone comes with a customized interface and an Alive Matrix Display featuring a special “L” effect.
TECNO says the collaboration goes beyond simply adding the Tonino Lamborghini name to the phone. Both companies worked on the design of the phone, software, and accessories to give them a similar look and feel.

Why Bologna Gives Context to TECNO's Choice
The location was an important part of the event. By bringing guests to Tonino Lamborghini's headquarters, TECNO could show them the Italian design and history behind the collaboration instead of just presenting the phone on its own.
Tonino Lamborghini said the project brings his Italian culture and craftsmanship into a new form of technology. He also sees it as a way for younger users to express their personal style.
TECNO CMO Laury Bai said the trip was meant to give guests a better idea of where the phone's design inspiration came from. This makes the partnership about more than simply putting the Tonino Lamborghini name on a smartphone. TECNO wanted to bring some of that design style into the POVA series.
The result is still a POVA phone, but with clear Italian influences in its design.
