Bluboo Maya specifications unveiled

As promised we are bringing more info about the upcoming new Bluboo Maya phone and following the yesterday’s first picture we have some initial specifications available. So no need to fall for the marketing babble about the elegant, powerful, efficient and awesome phone and let’s look at the cold hard facts.

Seems like the Bluboo Maya will be even lower budget oriented than i expected, because the quad-core MT6580A clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage simply indicates that. Let’s hope at least for the microSD slot, because it’s not mentioned in the press release, but in my opinion its safe to assume it will be there.

Gizchina News of the week

Bluboo claims that the Maya will be the most effective, efficient and whatever device with exceptional main camera, but is it really realistic to expect such things from an ultra budget MT6580 phone ? Logic would say no, but maybe us eternal optimists can get surprised. Bluboo Maya should be released in June so we should get more detailed info about it soon.

Spec wise it seems almost identical to the Picasso they recently released, what’s the point of having 2 really crap phones for people to choose from??

As expected from a phone called “maya”, it has 2012’s specs and it’s advertised like it’s the end of the world when clearly it’s not (don’t know if in English this pun has a sense, but it does in italian, so sorry if I wrote something stupid while translating directly)

Your half right, owning a piece or garbage like this will feel like it’s the end of the world when your waiting for things to open!

OMG! The specs are like the Picasso, no difference! What the heck is this? Why not use the MT6735 with 4G support, together with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM? This could be perfect! No more crappy MT6580 phones please…
