Upcoming Elephone action camera named EleCam Explorer Elite will be the true successor of the Elephone Explorer Pro model and should be available in the market very soon.
Explorer Elite will be equipped with the same chipset as the predecessor, so the NT96660 and will support 4K video recording with 24fps. Sensor in the camera will be coming from Japan with Sony IMX078.

According to Elephone the new action camera will be pretty special and to support the claim they have recorded a 4K video with it and apparently the cam has no problem capturing even such motion as fluttering of the butterfly wings. After all check it out yourselves.
