All you need to know about the Bluboo Maya Max display

Following the vanilla Bluboo Maya release the second one in the Maya lineup should be here soonish and we are slowly piecing together the specifications of tis Bluboo Maya Max.

We already know that the rear camera is going to be equipped with the Sony IMX214 sensor, battery capacity will be 4200 mAh, the back cover will be from the metallic alloy 6000 and as the OS will be used Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Today we throw in some details about the display of Maya Max. It will be a big LCD 6-inch one made by JDI and sporting the 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution with 245 ppi. Maximum brightness of the display should be 550cd/m2 so theoretically enough to guarantee good sun legibility.

The display will have the WhiteMagic technology implemented, which means the RGB matrix should be extended to RBGW one with the added white subpixel. With this subpixel the whites should be really good and the whole display also should be more bright and energy saving.

Bluboo Maya Max should be released during the July/August time period so stay tuned for more specs leaks and information.

Who cares? We don’t even have a clue about its soc, who cares about a pixellated 6″ hd screen?!

I bought one and it is absolutely fantastic! Although it is a full six inch it is sturdy and fits into all my pockets and is great for watching sport and movies on rather than the small iPhone 6. PLUS the 4200mah battery goes on and on and on and ariston

Yeah, I’ve seen some reviews and I was very surprised about how good it is, but my point about useless ads (in general, not just about this) stays the same!

Boring, umi, ulefone, oukitel, Bluboo, elephone etc. They make 1 phone after the other, they don’t finish what they started, bad software and hardware. Who in the right mind will buy these phones?

I don’t know about the others but I can say that Oukitel are the best. I own oukitel K6000 Pro and it give me more than 12 hours screen on time with auto screen brightness. Now tell me which of the known so called Branded phones have such a huge screen on time?

Battery is not everything, if I want battery in a phone I will buy the old Nokia phones with keyboard.

So what else you want in a phone? Screen? It has a beautiful bright screen? Ram? It has 3 GB Ram. No boatware. Expandable memory. What else is your criteria?

Great camera, and you get other phones with more ram and not too much $ spent.

EDIT: to be honest, it’s not like resolution is a big problem, although on a 6″ phone an hd display doesn’t sound like a beast of a screen… But seriously: who cares about ads on a phone with a cheapish screen, a battery not so big for that size, and a 3 years old camera sensor?! What’s the point in an ad that just screams “we went for cheap components”?!

You should see this same ad on gizmochina… Was angry with myself for reading it. They even dared to mention that this 245ppi display is as good as one from the best phones out there.

Not concern much about the big screen, but looking at the battery with 4200mAh, Android 6.0 OS and Sony IMX214 camera sensor, and experience tells us that it must be 13MP or above. Now the price is just a mystery.
