UMI Max will be using the Helio P10 processor

UMI are currently focusing fully on the creation of their new UMI Max and carefully releasing bit and pieces of the specs information so we can slowly put the puzzle together.

So what do we know so far? The design should be elegant and ergonomical with chassis made of magnesium-aluminum alloy. RAM capacity should be 6 GB and the interal storage should be expandable up to 256 GB. The big display is expected to be a 6-inch AMOLED one with unknown resolution.

Today we will throw in the newest info about the used processor, which will be the midrange Helio P10 supported by Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS. In the light of these information sounds pretty sketchy the alleged UMI’s plan to challenge the new Samsung Note 7, which uses way more powerful hardware.

But with today’s press release they have tried to compare the device to another one again, this time the Oppo R9. They claim that the specifications are pretty similar and with Oppo’s limited availability on the international markets there is surely a possible chance to succeed. Let’s wait and see for the pricing before jumping to conclusion, because if UMI manages to set the price low it can really become a challenger for the R9.

Not only that… I’m pretty sure UMi will say that the Max is faster than the Note 7 and it has better cameras! LOL!

Umi digital has already released all the specs. 5.5inch, not 6. Not an amoled screen, and no 6gb. 3gb and ips display.

I checked their website, the specs seem exactly the same as the Super.

The only difference I saw is the design, price (it is apparently $170.00) and that the battery is supposedly more advanced.
