Xiaomi seem all set to launch their next in line budget bomb, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A for the Indian market. While the Redmi 3S wasn’t a tearaway success by Xiaomi’s standards, the phone did sell well but a successor is now due.
According to India-based tech website Gadgets to Use, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A will launch in India on the 20th of this month. It does seem like a busy phone month for Indian tech heads, since the OPPO F3 and F3 Plus are also due for a launch in the country in the month.
The Redmi 4A is, in the truest sense, a budget phone. It comes with 2GB of RAM and features the Snapdragon 425 SoC, and is expected to sell for around the 6,000 INR mark in India.
In recent news, Xiaomi announced that they sold over a million units of the Redmi Note 4 in less than two months in India — their fastest till date.
