Samsung Galaxy S8 could come with 3-month “grace” period for refund?

News and rumors are still heading our way regarding the Galaxy S8 model just 6 days before its official unveiling, and this comes as no surprise. The latest info on the upcoming model insist that the Korean company is -seriously- considering to offer it with an unconditional 3 month “grace” period for refund!

Yes, if this turns out to be true, we will buy our Galaxy S8 and if we don’t like it (or it doesn’t explode?) we will be able to return it and get a full refund! No questions asked. It may seem like a great idea for us customers but it surely isn’t good for the company’s logistics, trying to make up for all those people returning their Galaxy S8’s and refunding them!

Gizchina News of the week

The report from Korea mentions that Samsung is considering this whole promotion because it wants to show its full confidence in the Galaxy S8’s quality after last year’s Note 7 fiasco. But that’s not the only reason: Bixby, the company’s first artificial intelligence assistant is expected to have limited functionality and support during the Galaxy S8’s first few weeks of release, so if customers are displeased they can return the phone and get a full refund.

As always you should take all of the above with a pinch of salt, until next week when we will see the official unveiling of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
