Structural design of the bezel-less Bluboo S1 revealed

Bluboo S1

We have first seen the bezel-less Bluboo S1 at the Global Source Fair and even though the Xiaomi Mi Mix clones are sprouting left and right this one looks pretty promising. And today we have a better chance to slightly look under the wraps of the upcoming phone, because they have released a structural design image of the device.

As we can see from the picture below, the 5.5-inch Sharp FullHD display nearly covers the whole front panel with almost zero bezels on three sides, leaving just enough space for a fingerprint scanner. It’s noticeable that the earpiece speaker and proximity sensor are still placed on the top area of the phone above the display, but they are highly miniaturized. The 8MP front-facing selfie camera which is usually on the top actually migrated down, below the screen.

On the rear the S1 has dual cameras located on the top left side, main 16MP camera along with a secondary 3MP shooter. Next to the dual cameras lies the dual LED flash to help improve the low-light performance.

Bluboo S1 should be powered by the Helio P25 processor and comes with two alternative memory combinations, either 4 GB RAM / 64 GB internal storage or 6 GB RAM / 128 GB internal storage. Pricing for the phone is not yet known and the release is set out for June.
