MIUI 8.5.2.0 Stable ROM available for the Xiaomi Mi 5


Thank god, Xiaomi doesn’t forget its old but beautiful flagship models, like the Xiaomi Mi 5 that is still one of the company’s best sellers till now. According to the company, the latest MIUI 8.5.2.0 China Stable ROM is now available from MIUI Forums for everyone interested.

The new updateĀ Ā brings in a host of features and fixes several bugs that were plaguing the software on the model. According to the change log the new MIUI rom now offersĀ aĀ  smarter and more efficient CPU allocation strategy, along with certain system optimizations in various sectors of the device.

Every update comes however with its small bug fixes and minor improvements as well, and this is no different. With the new MIUI 8.5.2.0 users can now search for their desired Time Zone, use separate app locks for all dual applications, hide notifications on the lock screen, enjoy the improved Auto Brightness feature, andĀ identify recorded calls on the call history as they are now tagged.

    I have Mi Note 2 and I also got this update yesterday “I run my phones on CN ROM”.

    Any news on PIP update?

    Icons background ist not transparent anymore, all have white background.
    It looks awful.
