The latest news on our desk indicates that HMD Global might be prepping a new storage variant for the Nokia 8, which we bet will be very much in demand if it finally makes it to the Markets. It was only a couple of days back that a similar Nokia 8 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space was spotted at the FCC (the US Federal Communication Commission), an indication that the upgraded model might be headed for the US Market.
What is this new storage variant? Well, it’s the same smartphone released earlier with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space, but this time around the expected upgrade will come in the form of higher 6GB RAM size and more 128GB storage space. Specs-wise, we are quite sure HMD Global will maintain the exact same specs as the base Nokia 8 – a 5.3-inch Quad HD display powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with 13-megapixel dual rear cameras and 3090mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
So what price are you willing to pay for extra RAM and more storage space? We are not sure when the upgraded Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be announced, but the device will set you back by €669, €90 than the regular model with 4GB RAM & 64GB storage space.
