Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 To Sport An Exynos 7880 CPU, 3GB of RAM


Respected leaker, Roland Quandt has shared some information about the expected Galaxy Tab Active 2 which would be the successor to the hardcore Samsung Galaxy Tab Active. The South Korean manufacturing giant has been working on this tablet for a while now and today, we got some speculations on the specs of this device.

The Galaxy Tab Active 2 gets its design inspiration from its predecessor but it is more rounded and the buttons are cleaner. In terms of hardware, it will be powered by an Exynos 7880 CPU clocking 1.6GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. This Tab professedly comes with an 8-inch TFT LCD screen with 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. In the camera department, we have an 8MP rear camera supported by a 5MP selfie snapper. Running an Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, this tab will have a 4,450mAh removable battery to keep its light on.  Other features of this device include a fingerprint reader planted in the physical home button, LTE capabilities (SM-T395), Bluetooth 4.2, an S Pen and more.

POGO pin receiver is compatible with this tab thus it can be used with third-party devices. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is expected to launch later this year with a price tag between $500 to $600.
