Meizu’s Blue Charm Soon To Have Independent Website

Earlier this year Meizu and it’s Blue Charm sub brand had a bit of a parting of the ways, now with news of an independent website it looks like the two brands will divided further.

Back in May of this year it was announced that Meizu and Blue Charm will be ran independently from each other. The decision for the two brands to split saw Li Nan move away from being in charge of both brands to only the Blue Charm brand.

So far the split doesn’t seem to have affected either brand too badly. Blue Charm sales are still doing very well with an estimated 45 million Blue Charm phones sold, 20 million of which are Note variants. While Meizu continues to lip along with a few more innovative flagships now and again.

It looks as though this divide is about to take another step though with some web users reporting that the Blue Charm website was redirected to the new http://www.mblu.com URL earlier today.

The URL isn’t currently working anymore but screenshots from the site show that along with Blue Charm phones, headphones will also be part of the Blue Charm range in the future with other accessories likely to follow.

According to reports the new mblu.com website will launch on the 18th December to celebrate the sub brands 3rd anniversary.
