Huawei’s Next Flagship to Provide SLR-like Experience

Huawei

Huawei is the third smartphone maker in the world. It could reach this rank due to various reasons. But the most important of them is that this manufacturer always follows the trends and … comes in with phones that make trends. Say, the latest flagship of the company, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro sports all the latest innovations and trendy features. That’s why the Chinese tech giant decided to bring THIS handset to the US market. This device will become a bestseller, undoubtedly. But Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong (Richard Yu) said the US carriers should give more opportunities to the Chinese smartphone makers. Later when Richard Yu gave an interview, he said camera tech and AI integration are the next big battlegrounds and opportunities for all smartphone manufacturers. And what’s more important Huawei is going to bring an SLR-like experience to their next flagship.

Gizchina News of the week

Huawei

This is for the first time when a smartphone maker confirms they are working on a smartphone that will take photos like an SLR camera. As he Richard Yu said, he wants to bring DSLR like focal lengths and zoom to the mobile ecosystem. Actually, there have been other models with such purposes. Among them, we can mention the Panasonic CM1 and Nokia Lumia 1020, but they didn’t become as popular as expected. So we wonder whether the next Huawei flagship that will focus on DSLR-like experience will fail or succeed. And what’s more interesting, will that phone provide a promised performance in real?

That’s a fact! All the great camera smartphones were custom sensors, Nokia n8, 808, 1020… If they want to improve on that subject, they probably have to use them!!
