Xiaomi To Attend MWC 2018

Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is well known in most parts of the world. Its devices are significantly present in some countries that the company does not officially exist. Xiaomi has been making steady efforts to penetrate the western market. For now, we can only dream of the presence of Xiaomi in countries like the US. However, the company is determined to become a household name in the global scene. One of the most significant tech expo in the world – Mobile World Congress (MWC) is scheduled to hold in Barcelona, Spain, from February 26th to March 1st. Current information has it that Xiaomi will be attending this congress for the first time in its seven-year history. In fact, this is the very first congress of this magnitude that Xiaomi will be attending. The company will be situated at Stand 6B30 in Hall 6, and this is about all that is known of Xiaomi’s presence for now.

Xiaomi’s presence will be more interesting if the rumors that it will unveil the flagship Xiaomi Mi 7 at MWC 2018 are correct. Although, this can only happen if the company hosts a keynote event and as of now, there is no confirmation or speculation that it will have a keynote event. From the rumored specs of this device, it will most likely make the headlines if it is unveiled. This 6-inch full-screen smartphone with Samsung-made AMOLED display is reported to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM, and we are all waiting to assess the performance of this chip. Other exciting features in this smartphone include 3D face recognition and Qi wireless charging.
Last year, there were strong rumors that Xiaomi will be at the MWC but that didn’t happen thus many foreign Mi fans are looking forward to Xiaomi’s presence at MWC 2018.
